Liv Boeree
Liv Boeree has confirmed for the English Poker Open September 15-17.

With both the WSOPE and the London leg of the PokerStars EPT going off back-to-back next month, the U.K. was already poised to become the center of the poker universe.

Now, the inaugural English Poker Open is adding to the excitement with a $5,300 buy-in event at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham September 15-17.

With a 270 player cap, the EPO is expected to attract some of the best players on the planet.

Eleven-time Joe Beevers and Liv Boeree have already confirmed.

As of Thursday, just 117 seats remained available and several different poker rooms, including Full Tilt Poker, Littlewoods Poker and the Cake Poker Network, are offering satellites.

The three-day tournament will feature 10k starting stacks, 60-minute levels and an 11-hour first day.

The EPO is also hosting a two-day £500 No-Limit freezeout starting day two and a one-day £250 No-Limit freezeout on the day of the final table.

Organizers are planning a welcome party on the night before the event at the Crowne Plaza Nottingham.

"If you're lucky Her Majesty the Queen might even put in an appearance," an EPO release reads. "Although we believe she has a home game that night."

The event will be streamed live on the English Poker Open website and players can reserve seats there.
