Event 2 at the inaugural WSOP Europe is over and Dario Alioto has emerged victorious. Alioto defeated Tony G. in three-handed play and then a largely ineffectual Istven Novak heads-up to claim his first WSOP bracelet and £234,390 in payola. Congratulations to you, Ryu, but not so much Novak and not so much whichever optimist schedules these marathon events as two-day affairs.
