Tournament Over!
David "Diggy" Dao limps in and William "Kai" Landry checks his option. The flop comes K
T
4
and both players check. The turn is the A
and Landry leads out for $50,000.
Dao raises to $150,000 and after barely a pause, Landry moves all-in, putting Dao to a decision for his tournament life.
Dao ruminates for a minute or so before making the call, turning up a mystifying J
7
for the royal flush draw against Landry's Q
J
for the broadway straight.
Dao needs any diamond to double up and stay alive, but the river card is the 6
and Landry's hand holds up, giving the Mississippi native the pot and the tournament title in one fell swoop!
For the win, Landry earns $183,974, as well as that coveted WSOP Circuit ring and an entry into this summer's World Series of Poker Main Event.
For his second-place finish, Dao earns $117,744 for his time.
Congrats to both players and to PokerListings.com, who can finally leave Tunica.

and Dao puts Landry all-in for his last $1,023,000. Landry instantly calls, turning up Q
Q
to counter Dao's pair of fours.
Dao needs to hit a four to win the tournament, but the turn is the 2
and the river the J
and the queens hold, doubling Landry up and knocking Dao down to his last $800,000.

Justice Does Not Prevail
Matt Stout raises on the button and William "Kai" Landry moves all-in from the small blind for $708,000. David Dao gets out of the way but Stout quickly calls, turning up A
Q
and finding he's racing against Landry's 7
7
.
The flop comes 9
6
4
and that helps neither player. The turn is the 5
.
"I deserve the A
right now, don't I?" Stout asks Landry, who nods in agreement.
The river card, however, is the 7
, giving Landry the set and the hand. After a brief pause to count down the chips, it's revealed that Landry barely has Stout covered and the PokerListings blogger and Full Tilt red pro is out of the tournament. Stout earns $73,590 for his time.
We're now heads-up between David "Diggy" Dao and William "Kai" Landry, with both players about even in chips.

Landry Stays Alive
Kai Landry open-shoves all-in for his last $339,000 on the button and Matt Stout quickly calls from the big blind, turning up K
Q
and finding himself in good shape to bust Landry, who has K
9
.
The flop comes A
J
8
, helping nobody, but the 2
on the turn gives Stout bocoo ways to lose the hand. The river is one of them, bringing the K
to give Landry the club flush and double him back up to about $700,000.

Off the Charts!
Players have just taken a 15-minute break and return to play with the tournament having exceeded the bounds of the published structure sheet.
At Matt Stout's urging, tournament director Jimmy Somerfeld added a $12k/$24k level at the start of the day so that's where we'll begin. The new level probably benefits Stout more than anyone else, as Dao is a maniac and Landy doesn't have nearly the same experience in tournament play as Stout.

Landry Implodes!!!
William "Kai" Landry limps in from the button before David "Diggy" Dao pops it to $110,000 from the small blind. Matt Stout gets out of the way and Landry makes the call.
The flop comes T
9
2
and Dao immediately moves all-in, committing his last $719,000 to the middle.
Landry ruminates for a moment before announcing he's making the call, turning up a head-scratcher in 4
4
for the underpair. Dao has K
T
for top pair and is in great shape to double up.
The turn is the A
and Landry needs to hit a two-outer to bust Dao, but the river is the Q
and Dao survives, doubling through Landry and taking down a massive pot.

Huge Pot for Stout
Matt Stout raises to $55,000 on the button and William "Kai" Landry makes the call in the small blind. David Dao folds in the big blind and we're heads-up going to the flop.
Said flop comes 9
8
3
and Landry checks to the Full Tilt pro, who bets out $80,000. Landry raises to $300,000 and the action is back on Stout, who takes a moment to mull things over.
"I go all-in," he announces, putting the onus squarely on Landry. It's another $376,000 for Kai to make the call, but despite the favorable odds Landry opts to lay it down, shipping a substantial pot to the kid.
Landry and Stout are now even in chips.

Stout Rebuilds
Left the tournament short stack after Leonard Eidson's elimination, Matt Stout has clawed his way back into second place on the chip leaderboard.
Stout and chip leader William "Kai" Landry saw a flop come A

after Stout raised to $50k preflop and Landry made the call. On the flop, both players checked and the turn was the K

Now Stout led out for $80,000 and Landry made the call. The river was the 6
and Stout fired $120,000 into the middle. Landry laid it down and the PokerListings blogger took down the pot.
Stout is now on just under $1 million, while Landry has about $1.5 million and Diggy Dao $750,000.

Eidson Zwei'd (4th)
Shortly after being crippled by Kai Landry, Leonard Eidson gets all-in for his last $117,000 over the top of a Landry raise and a Matt Stout flat-call. Both Landry and Stout make the call and Stout checks in the dark as the flop comes J
8
6
.
Landry checks behind and the turn is the T
. Both players check and they check again on the river, which is the T
.
Eidson announces "ace-high," and shows A-7. It's no good, as Landry has 6
5
for a pair of sixes and, after Stout mucks, takes down the pot.
Eidson is thus eliminated in fourth place, earning $61,816 and reducing the field to the final three.
