Luong Doubles Through Perry

On the first hand back from the break, Dennis Perry and Gioi Luong get all the chips in the middle preflop, Luong with pocket treys and Perry with A-5 of hearts. The flop comes 2-K-3 and Luong has a set of crabs but Perry has a heart flush draw. The turn is another king and fills up Luong, meaning he'll double through Perry and the tournament continues.

On the next hand, Perry pushes all-in and Luong folds. Perry shows pocket deuces as he rakes the pot.

Dennis Perry opens the betting with a $200,000 raise and Lance Allred moves all-in for another $605,000. Perry makes the call and shows another head-scratching hand: K 8 versus Allred's K J. Allred cannot feel safe even with Perry dominated, and sure enough after the flop comes A 7 7 the turn is the 8, pairing Perry's eight and putting Allred in deep trouble. The river is the Q and Lance Allred has been eliminated as Dennis "Refrigerator" Perry continues to be rewarded on his quest of donkstrikery. Allred takes home $145,396 for his third place finish.

After a couple of uneventful hands three-handed, Gioi Luong makes it $140,000 and Lance Allred re-raises all-in. Dennis Perry asks for a count and the total is $890,000. Perry folds and Luong mucks pocket sixes face up. Perry wants to show his hand and exposes A Q. Allred, on the other hand, mucks his cards facedown and with a Cheshire Cat grin on his face, rakes the pot.

Larry Vance makes it $100,000 from the button and Dennis Perry says don't hate, participate - he makes it $200,000 and Vance opts to call. The flop comes J Q 2 and Perry bets out $260,000, which Vance takes as a personal affront, pushing all of his chips into the middle as a rebuttal. Perry makes the call and unsheaths the 10-9, while Vance brandishes K-J for middle pair. The turn is the 9, pairing Perry's nines and giving him plenty of outs to bust Vance. One of those outs is the 8, giving Perry the straight and sending Vance packing. He'll take home $127,222 for his fourth place finish.

Peter Martin thinks it over and then announces an all-in re-raise for a grand total of $402,000. Allred makes the call and turns over 6 5 to Martin's A 7. The turn is the 3, but the river is the 4, giving Lance Allred the seven-high straight and sending Peter "Royal Flush" Martin to the rail, ironically at the hands of the player through whom he doubled with the Royal Flush yesterday. The turn is the 7, giving Mizrachi the gutshot straight draw, and the river is the 4, which gives Mizrachi the set and sends Simpson to the rail.
