Matt Jarvis Wins Event 40 $5,000 NLHE Six-Max
Matt Jarvis
Matt Jarvis made up for his early exit from the 2010 November Nine by winning his first bracelet on Day 27 of the 2011 WSOP.
It took Jarvis only five hands of heads-up play on Day 4 of the extended $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em Six-Max to send Justin Flitz to the rail and claim his bracelet. Jarvis outlasted 732 players to secure the $808,538 first place prize.
Jarvis joins a long list of former November Niners that have gone on to win bracelets after their Main Event final table appearances including Scott Montgomery and Eric Buchman.
