$50k H.O.R.S.E. - Six to the Feed Bag!
We've reached the end of the 22nd level in the $50,000 World Championship H.O.R.S.E. event and our six finalists are heading off for a 90-minute dinner break before resuming the struggle.
Vitaly Lunkin jumped out to a commanding chip lead, building his stack to over 5.5 million after a couple of monster pots. He has since dropped a couple milli but he still holds the lead.
The first pot took place in Omaha-8 and involved Lunkin, Ville Wahlbeck, Erik Sagstrom and John Hanson in a preflop raised pot.
The flop came Q
T
4
and Lunkin bet out. All three rivals made the call and the turn was the 9
. Now action checked to Hanson, who bet out.
Lunkin was the only caller and the river was the 3
.

What am I going to do with this bracelet?
Lunkin again check-called and showed K
Q
Q
T
for the set of queens. It was good to take down the pot and Lunkin raked it.
A few hands later, Lunkin raised the button in O8 and Ville Wahlbeck made the call in the big blind. The flop came 7
7
7
and Wahlbeck checked.
Lunkin bet and Wahlbeck flat-called. Both players checked the turn and river, which came 6
J
.
Lunkin turned up A-K-3-3 for sevens full of threes and Wahlbeck couldn't beat it. Lunkin took down the pot.
Bach Stays Alive
David Bach managed to chip up a bit in the Stud round, calling John Hanson down to the river with (x-x) K
J
7
4
(x) against Hanson's (x-x) 7
A
7
J
(x).
Hanson turned up an ace for aces-up, but Bach produced two more hearts to make a flush, winning the pot and building his stack back up over the million chip mark.
See you at 9 p.m.!
