It's final table time in Event 48, the $2,000 No Limit Hold'em tournament. Action has been underway on the floor of the Amazon Room for an hour and we've yet to lose a player, although PokerListings fave Alan Cutler did stave off elimination with a timely double-up, as you'll see below.

Here's how the action played out over the first hour at the final table:

Sundbo Doubles

Gabe Costner, Alexandre Gomes and Sverre Sundbo see a flop come K 6 4. All three players check and the turn is the 7. Sundbo checks and Costner bets $180,000. Gomes calls before Sundbo moves all-in for $520,00 total.

Costner snap-calls and Gomes gets out of the way, leaving Sundbo to show a pocket pair of sixes to Costner's K 8. The board finishes out with the A and Sundbo doubles up through Costner.

Cutler Doubles!

Alan Cutler raises to $140,000 from the cut-off and Sverre Sundbo re-raises to $540,000 from the small blind. Cutler moves all-in over the top and Sundbo makes a quick call, turning up 7 7 to Sundbo's A Q. The board comes T 6 2 4 8 and the sevens hold, giving Cutler the pot and doubling him up to $1.4 million.

UPDATE: Rome Burns (9th)

Dan Rome open-shoves all-in from the small blind and Ryan D'Angelo snap-calls in the big blind, turning up pocket aces to Rome's 5 4. The board comes K K Q 4 2 and Dan Rome is eliminated in ninth place. He'll earn $71,687 for his time.
