Event 32 - Final Table - The Pwnage Continues!
We've had just one elimination this past level leaving six players to duke it out over the final table felt. Luis Velador is the one doing most of the duking and has increased his already gargantuan chip lead.
Read on for the updated counts and a snapshot of the action.
Georges Jungle'd (7th)
Dany Georges has been eliminated and the deed was done by Dean Bui. The two got all-in before the flop with Bui's 6
6
looking to hold up against Georges' A
J
. The board ran K
T
3
7
3
and, despite picking up a gut-shot to go with his overcards, Georges is out for $100,638.
Wicked Chop
Dean Bui just found himself in a great spot to double through chip leader Luis Velador but, as we've seen so many times before, the cards refused to cooperate. It began with Velador opening to $57,000 and Bui making the call.
The flop came down A
3
3
and Bui led out for $105,000. Velador came back over the top and moved all-in, meaning Bui would have to call for his remaining $250,000 or so. After a bit of a dwell Bui made the call and tabled A
J
which was dominating Velador's A
T
.
Before Bui could enjoy the situation for long the dealer laid the 3
down on the felt, making aces-full for both players and splitting the hefty pot.
Velador Dominates
Luis Velador has been busy taking down most of the big pots contested at this table. He seems prone to playing passively early in hands and then ramping up the aggression on the turn and river. It's been successful so far but we'll see if he can keep it in check going forward.

Event 32 - The Luis Velador Show
This final table has turned into a study of Luis Velado and his gigantic stack. He now has close to half the chips in play. Read on for counts as well as the last two eliminations.
Saha Slaughtered (8th)
Just minutes after Justin Hoffman’s bustication we watched Utsab Saha get all-in bad and fail to improve. Luis Velador opened from the button and Saha re-popped from the big blind. Velador then re-re-raised and Saha moved all-in.
Velador snap-called and turned over Q
Q
which had Saha’s A
T
in a bad spot. The board ran K
J
J
2
6
and Saha falls victim to the monster stack of Luis Velador.
Hoffman Hammered (9th)
We have our first elimination at this final table and it is Justin Hoffman headed out the door in ninth place for $54,464. Hoffman was shortstacked and seemed unable to pick up a playable hand in the first few orbits of the day.
On his final hand he was under the gun and must have seen the big blind peeking around the corner. He shipped it with J
8
and the action folded to Dean Bui in the big blind who was priced into the call with K
3
.
The board ran A
T
7
4
and Hoffman needed help on the river. Fifth street was a five, however, and Hoffman taps the table and gets up to go.
