Event 31 - He's Back!
The Dario Minieri we all know and love has returned to the final table. The Team PokerStars Pro is pushing raises across the line just about every hand and not even looking at his cards the odd time. We're now down to three and Minieri looks destined to bring home the title.
Song Sung (4th)
We're three handed now and Kevin Song is headed to the cage to cash $141,983 after he was picked off by chip leader Dario Minieri.
Song made it $75,000 from the button and Minieri came over the top asking for $155,000 total.
Song sat back and pushed all in for the $640k sitting in front of him. Minieri called and his A
8
had the lead over Song's K
J
. Song didn't get much help from the flop but picked up a gutter on the turn. Minieri caught an ace on the end and any hopes for a second Song bracelet were over.
Filtz Flips
Justin Filtz picked a good time to pick on Dario Minieri and has struck back to climb within shouting distance of the leader.
Flitz limped the small blind before Minieri, added a $72,000 raise to the proceedings.
Filtz made the call and the flop came Q
10
2
.
Filtz checked allowing Minieri to lead out for $140,000. Suddenly and decisively, Filtz moved in and Minieri snap-called.
It was K
10
for Filtz putting his tournament life on the line against Minieri's A
K
gutter. The 9
was of no value to either but the K
hit them both. Filtz's two pair was best and he had doubled through Dario getting his stack in the $1.3 million range.
Almost Two
Justin Filtz and Seth Fischer get it all in pre flop and both players have ace-queen. Filtz has Fischer covered and has the Q
so when the flop comes down containing three clubs, Fischer has to sweat a fourth one for his tournament life.
It never comes and they chop the pot.

Event 31 - ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
Dario Minieri has a reputation as one of the most aggressive players on the planet. But that reputation is in jeopardy right now.
Since we went four handed, play has grinded to a halt. Event Super Dario seems content to sit on the big stack he's built already and wait for his three opponents to make a mistake.
We've seen only a handful of flops, turns and rivers over the past hour, each checked down with the type of aggression more remindful of a lamb than a lion.
Dario maintains his massive lead with $2.4 million in chips. Kevin Song has $834,000 while Justin Filtz and Seth Fischer have around $770k each.
We'll keep updating you on the action, or lack thereof, as things progress from inside the Amazon Room.
But for now we're going to hit the rails at the ESPN final table area where more than one guest was seen dozing off as he watched this final. Was it too much Milwakee's Best Light or just a sleeper of a final table? Your guess is as good as ours.
