Event 30 - Final Table - We Begin!
The $10,000 Limit Hold'em event is yet another in a long line of star-studded final tables, this one featuring JC Tran, Dutch stalwart Rob Hollink and the nearly man of poker, Andy Bloch. Could this be the latter's event, finally?
Vitch Suffers Hitch
Rob Hollink raises preflop and Chris Vitch calls from the blinds. Vitch calls Hollink's bet on the flop, before both check the 5 turn, Vitch check/raised the ace river, and Hollink called with Q-J for a straight while Vitch's attempt at getting value from his A-Q had back-fired.
Trans-formation
JC Tran raises preflop, and Andy Bloch 3-bet, Tran calling. Bloch bet the T-7-5 flop and Tran check/raised, Bloch called and then raised Tran's $30,000 bet on the 8 turn, Tran moved all-in with K-7 and Bloch called with 6-6. Tran needed to avoid a six, nine or four to win, but the river was a queen which shipped the pot to Tran.
Katz Got The Cream
Chris Vitch busts out in 9th place after he moved in for his last $22,000 with Q-9, and was called by Aaron Katz's 8-3. The flop was pretty safe until the river was an eight, busting Vitch from the tournament. He collects $51,230 by way of consolation though.- Average Stack: $545,000
