Event 30 - Final Table - The Magic Three!
We've had two more casualties at the final table of Event 30 and one of them was the most well-known player remaining at the table. Dutch Pro Rob Hollink is leading the way with approximately $2 million chips:
J.C. Tran Hits the Deck (Fifth)
J.C. Tran bet pre-flop and Rob Hollink called. The flop came Q
7
3
and Hollink bet $30,000 and Tran called. Tran called and the turn came K
. Hollink bet and Tran shoved for the last of his chips. The K
came on the river and Hollink showed the J
to rake the pot with a spade flush. Tran is eliminated fifth for $128,075.
Katz Dogg'ed (Fourth)
Aaron Katz, who won his first bracelet in the 2004 WSOP Limit Hold'em, will not be winning another in this event. In his final hand Katz called a bet from Jerrod Ankenman for the last of his chips. Rob Hollink also called and the board came A
T
4
5
J
. Incredibly Ankenman's queen-high was good enough to take down the pot and Katz was eliminated fourth. He will receive $158,813 for his poker efforts in this tournament.

Event 30 - Final Table - Famous Five!
We're down to five players now, but the real revelation in the last level, has been Jerrod Ankenman, who has moved way up into the chip counts and is now threatening Rob Hollink's status as chip leader.
Park-ed On The Sideline
Brock Parker, who had lost a couple of recent pots, re-raises all-in against Jerrod Ankenman with Q
8
, but Ankenman was ahead with A
9
, and neither could catch anything on the board, which meant the Jerrod 'Ron Burgundy' Ankenman was standing tall and is now just behind Hollink in the chip stakes.
J-Rod Hits Again
Jerrod Ankenman has really stepped up the pressure over the last level, he's winning pot after pot, and has really began to push the other stacks around, particularly J.C Tran, Aaron Katz and Tommy Hang. Most recently, Ankenman was involved in a 3-bet pot with Hollink and Tran, they all saw a A-8-4 flop where Hollink bet $30,000, Ankenman raised to $60,000 and Tran folded.
The Dutchman made the call and then another one on 9 turn, before both players checked the 5 river. Ankelman showed A-J and Hollink mucked.
Tommy Still Hanging Around
Tommy Hang has been pretty much short-stacked the entire tournament, but he's still picking up the odd pot. Here, he raised preflop and Aaron Katz made the call, Hang bet the T
8
5
after Katz checked. The same occurrence happened on the J
turn and on the 9
river. Hang fired $50,000 one more time after Katz checked for a third time. This time though it was too much for the former chip leader and he gave up the pot.
J.C Not Done Yet
J.C Tran just managed a nicely timed double up. He was all-in on a K-9-2 board holding K-9 and found himself in dominating fashion against Ankenman's K-8 which needed runner-runner to knock him out. The 3 on the turn left Ankenman drawing dead, and Tran has now leap-frogged Katz into 4th place.
