Event 23 - Four On The Floor!
We're stuck on four as the two short stacks have made they're moves and are still surviving. Blair Hinkle still leads, but the race for second is certainly much tighter as we head into much bigger blind levels.
O' No! Here Comes O'Brien
From, the small blind Blair Hinkle kicked it up to $100,000, but Daniel O'Brien had bigger plans and reraised all in.
Hinkle almost beat him to the pot with the call felting A
Q
and looked to rail the young Las Vegas native and his Q
J
.
The 10
9
5
flop gave Hinkle a sweat, but the 10
turn kept him in good shape to send O'Brien out fourth. It wasn't until the 8
came rolling down on the river that the dominated O'Brien made his straight to double up.
He's now over $1 million in chips virtually tied for second with David Steicke. Hinkle retains the lead with almost $2.2 million.
Brockington Takes A Stand
Canadian Mark Brockington has played only a few hands throughout this final table. Down to under $400k he finally took a stand getting all $380k in his stack in with A
4
. Blair "I Call" Hinkle did just that with naught but Q
9
and when he could not connect to the board, Brockington doubled up.

Event 23 - All About Blair
Blair Hinkle is our new leader as we are down to four and ready for more. Sadly, the most aggressive player at the table outside of Hinkle, Dustin Dirksen is out. Right now it seems like a two horse race between Hinkle and David Steicke with the other two in the final four looking to move up.
Dirksen Done (5th)
Dustin Dirksen ran out to a chip lead behind some aggressive play early on, but he's now run out of steam and completely out of chips.
He became the fifth place finisher cashing $135,757 when he pushed his last $300k in with A
2
and got the call from Blair Hinkle with A
8
.
The Q
3
2
flop gave Dirksen the lead and hopes of a double, but those hopes were crushed when the 8
came on the turn. The 6
river ended any dreams Dirksen had of WSOP gold and the final table became four handed.
O'Double
Daniel O'Brien was the short stack, but those days are over. He just used A
K
to double through David Steicke. Steicke started the action making it $90k from the button. O'Brien took one look at big slick and shoved for $302k.
Steicke made the obvious call, but had just 10
9
to do it with. The J
6
3
flop kept O'Brien in the lead and stole a few of Steicke's outs. The turn and river bricked and O'Brien pulled up and over $600k.
New Heights For Hinkle
David Steicke made it $90,000 to se the flop but Blair Hinkle decided it was time to tangle and reraised him up to $220k total. Steicke made the call and the flop fell K
4
3
. Both players checked but when the 3
turn came and Steicke checked Hinkle pounced. He made it $200k, but could not shake Steicke, who flat called.
The river was the very brick like 2
and after another check from Steicke, Blair took him to value town making it $300k to see his holding with more than $900,000 in the pot.
Steicke made the call, but mucked when Blair showed him K
7
.
Hinkle is now in control of the table and has the chip lead.
Here's how the final four stack up according to WorldSeriesOfPoker.com:
| Blair Hinkle | $2,829,000 |
| David Steicke | $1,561,000 |
| Daniel O'Brien | $769,000 |
