Event 2 - It's Ovar - Hinkle Wins!
In the final hand of this marathon heads up match, after Grant Hinkle had built himself a slight lead, he shoved over the top of a James Akenhead re-raise and Akenhead called.
It was 10
4
for Hinkle against A
K
for Akenhead, but amazingly, the 10
4
10
flop gave Hinkle a full house. As if that wasn't bad enough, the 10
turn then gave Hinkle quads and it was all over. A shocked Akenhead will take home $520,219 for second.
Hinkle gets the $831,279 first place prize, the bracelet and he will surely go down in history as one of the biggest luckboxes in WSOP history!

Event 2 - FInal Table - The Warriors Battle On!
Akenhead has been slightly more aggressive heads up, picking up six out of seven pots in a row at one point.
Akenhead-ache
Grant Hinkle raises to $300,000, only to find James re-raising as he has done several times to $900,000.
Grant has laid down previously in the face of this aggression, but this time he is prepared to go to war, mulling over his options, before making what is a minimum re-raise to $1,500,000 chips.
James thinks carefully, before calling the extra $600,000 chips.
The flop comes K
7
4
. James checks and Hinkle announces a bet of $1,500,000. James quickly mucks and that enormous 3,000,000 pot gets Hinkle back on top of things again.
Brit Bites Back
James limps in from the button and the laid back Grant checks.
The flop pops out Q
J
9
.
Check from Grant and James bets out $175,000. Grant calls.
The turn is the 7
.
Check from Grant again and this time Akenhead counts out a stack of $375,000. Again Grant calls.
The river falls the J
.
Check from Grant once more and this time, James reaches into his stack and makes a large bet totaling $800,000. Grant spends a while in quiet contemplation before finally calling, only to be shown J
8
in James' hands for trips.
Grant looks a bit upset as he flashes Q-8 for a rivered top pair.
That hand sees James eat into Grant's lead, bringing the two combatants close to parity.

James Akenhead - 5,200,000
James Wins A Giant Peach
James Akenhead uses position on the button and raises it up to 350,000. Grant Hinkle calls from the big blind and they see a 6
4
2
flop.
James bets out $500,000 and Grant calls. A storm is brewing...
The turn is the 6
. Hinkle checks and James checks behind.
The river falls as the 7
.
For the third time Hinkle checks and James now bets out a mighty bet of $1,000,000. After thinking it over and deciding he was good, Grant calls, but when James shows 7-4 for 2 pair, Grant quickly mucks.
This giant pot moves James into the chip lead for the first time with a shade over $6,000,000 in chips.
We're now on a 20 minute break whilst the players collect their thoughts and do their best to dodge the nippers.
