Day 3 Live Updates

Event 16 - Magnificent Seven 1 year ago

Just seven players remain in the Omaha Hi/Lo split event with Ted Forrest leading the way. Will this be the year when he picks up his next bracelet or can one of the other players like Scott Clements thwart his challenge?

Ensico Eighth

Allan Ensico goes out in 8th winning $28,684 after getting all-in preflop with Scott Clements and Ted Forrest calling. The board came Q-2-3-8-K, Clements showed A-4 for the low whilst Forrest took the high with trip kings, Ensico mucked and hit the rail.

Forrest experiening chip growth!

Forrest Doesn't Chop

Ted Forrest moves up to around $700,000 in chips after he took a pot from the other big stack, Andrew Brown. The board was showing Kc 9c 4c As Ac, and Forrest showed Jc 5c 5d 2d, which was enough for the complete scoop.

Time For Din-Dins!

Players are now going on a 90 minute dinner break, they'll restart at 10.30pm.

Event 16 - After Eight 1 year ago

We're now down to just eight players in the hunt for the Omaha eight or better bracelet. Andrew Brown has a stranglehold on the chip lead and has no plans on giving it up. In the meanitme we've said goodbye to Gobboby.

Grove Coconutted (10th)

Lee Grove goes out tenth with Andrew Brown and Jim Pechac splitting up the chips left in his short stack by making the lo and hi hands. Grove did not find the final board to his liking but the $13,587 for 10th should soften the blow.

Grove's elimination paves the way for the official final table of nine to begin!

Fricke Fracked (9th)

Jimmy Fricke is our 9th place finisher and will cash $21,135 after being put all in pre flop by Andrew Brown.

Gobboboy gobbled.

Brown's 9h 6h 4s 3s was a nice looked double suited low hand while Fricke's Ad Kd Qd 6c was in the pre flop lead for the high. The Jc 9s 7c 6d 3d board never hit Fricke, but Brown made enough to send Gobboboy to the rail.
