Event 16 - Famous Five! 1 year ago

Two more players have busted in the $2,000 Omaha Hi/Lo event, leaving us with just five left. Ted Forrest is in dominating position now, whilst it looks as though the other players are going to be vying for second place at the moment.

Clements with an almost non scary stare...

Scott Pleads For Clemency

Scott Clements raises preflop, Ted Forrest re-raises whilst Brown calls. The two-time bracelet winner puts the last of his chips in the middle with the other two calling. The board comes out 4-5-J-Q-5, and Clements mucks while Brown wins the hand showing A-K-Q-5 for fives full of queens. Scott Clements goes out in 7th place.

Sauce Battle: Perry Perry Defeated By Brown

Ralph Perry moved his last few chips in and was called by Andrew Brown, Soheil Shamseddin and Ted Forrest. Brown fired every step of the way of the 7c Kh 9h 4c 2c with Shamseddin calling every step of the way. Brown flipped 7s 7h 3c 2c to scoop and Perry was eliminated.

Forrest Holds The Kia

Kia Hooshmand pushed all-in over the top of Ted Forrest's raise, the latter making the call with A-2-7-T, Kia showing A-2-8-9, the board ran out 4-A-J-4-T with a high two pair for Forrest meaning we're down to four

Event 16 - Ted Forrest Gunning For Number Six! 1 year ago

After a ninety minute dinner break, play is just about to restart in the $2,000 Omaha Hi/Lo event, led by Ted Forrest. Ted is gunning for his first bracelet since 2004 but still has six other players to get through. The question though at the moment is, can one of the other players stop him?
