Event 11 - Final Table - Short-stacks Survive
1 year ago
The theme of today's event seems to be "Staying Alive" as all six players are still alive. Greg Mueller is still the man to beat with a stack that's closing in on $2 million but has been unable to deliver the killing blow to any of his opponent.
Sirious Jamshidi Jams the Pot
Short-stack Sirious Jamshidi saw a flop of T

against Tim West and decided to shove for his last $520,000. West made the call and tabled JJ but Jamshidi had him beat with 5-4 for two-pair. There was no mercy for West on the turn or the river. Jamshidi doubles up.
Event 11 - Final Table - Tim West Doubles up
1 year ago
We've made it through the first hour of play at the Event 11 Final Table and so far Greg Mueller and Leo Wolpert have established themselves as the chip leader.
In a recent hand Tim West doubled through Mueller. In the hand Wolpert bet $55,000 and West re-raised $400,000. Mueller called and then announced he would cover West for his last $15,000 before the flop was dealt. West obviously called in the dark and the players flipped over their cards:
Mueller: 9
9
West: A
K
The board came K
4
2
5
6
and West doubled through Mueller. West now has approximately $800,000 while Mueller is still stacked with around $1.5 million.
