Event 10 - Winner!
It's all over. The fat lady has sung and we have our Omaha Stud/8 mixed event champion!
Here's how it played out.
Quadzilla Strikes Again!
Tom Chambers was very short so when he had the nut low draw with 9
2
A
T
on a 3
3
7
flop, he was happy to go to war.
Rouhani hasn't struggled to make big hands at this final table however and called Chambers, flipping up 3
8
2
9
for trips. Still needing to avoid Chambers hitting a low to split, he went one further as the turn came the A
to give him the low too.
More was to come though as incredibly a 3
peeled off on the river to give Rouhani quads, the win and the bracelet. That's the second bracelet this series that has been won with quads, following up Grant Hinkle's earlier win, also with quads!
Rouhani picks up a hefty $232,911 for this win.
PokerListings.com passes on our congratulations to Farzad on his win. Superb stuff!
We spoke to Rouhani after his victory.

Event 10 - Final Table - Two More Down!
The players have been on a dinner break for the last hour but have just returned. Here's the early action from the felt.
Rampant Rouhani
Rouhani has taken a stranglehold on the competition. Being dealt monster hands always helps though!
In the Stud/8 competition, he forced a fold out of Tom Chambers showing A-A-K-K then followed this up by crippling Miami John after hitting a flush on seventh street.
Yuequi'n Go Now (4th)
Yuequi Zhu made a move to double his stack in the Omaha/8 with A
5
Q
9
but Rouhani's run of great hands continued unabated as he found A
A
3
K
to bust Zhu.
Zhu picked up $63,807 to ease his woes.
Cernuto Is Finito (3rd)
Although Miami John doubled up after being crippled by Rouhani, it proved a temporary stay of execution.
He got his final few chips in in reasonable shape with bottom two pair versus the gutshot and nine high flush draw of Rouhani, but Rouhani hasn't missed much in recent times and a spade on the river sent Cernuto off to the bar, leaving Farzad Rouhani and Tom Chambers heads up for the bracelet!
It will be a miracle if Chambers can turn round the 160k to 1.6 million chip deficit he faces...
