Day 3 Live Updates

*Spoilers* We Have a Winner!

Tran Haunted By Graves

While play is officially heads-up, PokerListings.com has already interviewed the winner: Michael Graves. Michael got it all in with a pair of fives on a 4c 5s 7c flop, to take the bracelet when the final Kd Th couldn't finish Theo Tran's straight draw.

Graves earns $742,121 for his first-place finish, while Tran makes $387,193 for his second-best effort.

Luman No Graves-Digger

Facing a raise from Michael Graves, Shawn Luman moved all-in with Ad 9d. Graves called, showing a dominated As 8h. The flop brought 7h 4c 5c for a gutshot, which the Kh delayed but did not stop.

The rivered 6d made Graves the suck-out straight; and sent Luman out in third place, earning $224,249 for his bad beat.

Update 3 for Event 52, Day 1

*Spoilers* We're Heads-Up

Surreptitious reportage and shady dealings have revealed we are heads-up. What's more, the two players in question are apparently Michael Graves and Theo Tran. Yes, we sold our soul for this information and yes, the devil was short-changed on the deal.

Shawn's Gones

Facing a raise from Michael Graves, Shawn Hattem moved all-in. Graves folded; but Shawn Luman called holding pocket ladies to Hattem's As 9d. The 2c Th Td 9c 8s board brought no help for Hattem, who moves out in fourth with $161,330.
