8th Place Elimination: Stephen Ladowsky 2 years ago

Stephen Ladowsky is the eighth place finisher, thanks to Robert Mizrachi.

After seeing a flop of 9d 4d 2c, Tommy Ly checked. Stephen checked as well, but Robert raised it to $95K.  At this point Tommy folded, but Stephen got all-in. Robert called.

Robert turned over 8c 7h Ts Td, and Steven had 9h 3d 3s-5.

The turn was the 3h, and Steven had a set of threes - but then the river came out the Th, giving Robert Mizrachi a set of tens!

Stephen Ladowsky goes home in 8th place with $69,363.

Level Nineteen - Big Pots, Double-Ups 2 years ago

Blinds are up: $20,000/$40,000. It's Level 19 in the tournament.

Here's some Level 18 action:

Stephen Ladowski Doubles Up Through Robert Mizrachi

Stephen was all-in for his tournament life pre-flop, and turned over Kc Kh 4h 9h. Robert Mizrachi called it and had Jd 7d 4s Ks.

The board came out 8h Jh Kd, and Stephen flopped a set of kings and a king high flush draw. The turn and river were the As and the 4c, which kept Stephen in the good, doubling up his stack through Robert.

Rene Mourtisen Wins A Pot

After seeing a flop of 8c 3s 5s, Rene checked. Robert Mizrachi bet out $160K, only to be re-raised by Rene for an additional $525K.

Bobby folded after a little ponder and Rene picked up the pot.

A Pot for Bobby

There were 4 players to the flop: Doyle Brunson, Patrik Antonius, Robert Mizrachi and Stephen Ladowski.

Doyle had first action.

6h Ts 3s. Doyle checked and so did Patrik. Stephen bet out $140K and Robert called the bet. Doyle and Patrik both folded and there were two players remaining.

The turn card was the Td. Robert bet $100K after Stephan checked - and then Stephen folded, giving Robert the pot.

Another one for Doyle

On a flop of 9c 2s 6c, Marco Traniello, Tommy Ly, Robert Mizrachi and Doyle Brunson were all playing.

Marco  checked; Tommy Ly bet out $100K. Robert folded, and Doyle called the bet. Marco folded and there were two players left.

The turn was the Jh. Doyle raised it to $380K, the size of the pot. Tommy folded after a long, long thinking process.
