Mitch Maples Eliminated 9th ($14,578)

Mitch Maples, who sounds like some kind of super hero, has hit his kryptonite. Maples was busted out 9th by Thang Luu. Here's how the hand played out:

Maples raises to $30,000 and Luu calls. The flop comes J 10 5 and again Maples bets and Luu calls. The turn comes 7 and Maples pushes all-in. Luu calls and shows his hand.

Luu: A 2 10 K

Maples: A 3 J J

Luu has got the low with A-2 but Maples has the high with a set of jacks. Things change considerably when the river comes Q giving Luu the broadway straight. Goodbye Maples, we hardly knew ya!
