Dutchman Grounded - Marcel Luske Eliminated 4th

It appears Marcel Luske will have have to wait a little bit longer for his first WSOP bracelet. Luske's final hand played out as follows:

Thang Luu is on the button and raises pre-flop. Marcel Luske calls from the small blind and both players see a flop of A K 3. Luske checks and Luu bets $40,000. Luske calls all-in and both players show:

Luske: 6 7 10 10

The turn comes 3 and the river comes 6. Luu wins the pot and the Dutchman is flying back home.

Marvin Martian'ed - Marvin Ryan Finishes 5th ($47,136)

Marvin Ryan is UTG and pushes all-in for his last $60,000. Corpuz, O'Dell and Luske call. The flop comes K K 2 and action is checked to a turn card of 7. Everybody checks again and the river comes J and action is checked for a final time. It's show down time

Luske and Ryan muck their hands. Corpuz and O'Dell split the pot with the same high while Luske is way down and Ryan is eliminated.

Martin Corpuz, Marcel Luske, Marvin Ryan and Ming Lee all see a flop of 8 7 6. Corpuz bets, Lee calls, Luske re-raises and everybody calls. The turn comes J and Corpuz bets, Lee gets the remainder of his chips in the pot and everybody else calls. The river comes 4 and action is checked around the table. Players show their hands:

Ryan: A 3 5 9

Luske decides to muck his hand. Corpuz has the low and Ryan has the high. Lee has nothing but a walk to the door.

Mitch Maples Eliminated 9th ($14,578)

Mitch Maples, who sounds like some kind of super hero, has hit his kryptonite. Maples was busted out 9th by Thang Luu. Here's how the hand played out:

Maples raises to $30,000 and Luu calls. The flop comes J 10 5 and again Maples bets and Luu calls. The turn comes 7 and Maples pushes all-in. Luu calls and shows his hand.

Luu: A 2 10 K

Maples: A 3 J J

Luu has got the low with A-2 but Maples has the high with a set of jacks. Things change considerably when the river comes Q giving Luu the broadway straight. Goodbye Maples, we hardly knew ya!
