PLOHLSEOB Dunzo! Dumanski is Champ!

Stoked!
It hurts to smile.

This event is over and Lukasz Dumanski is our winner! Dumanski had a two and a half to one chip lead going into the heads-up match and had his opponent, David Bach, all-in only a short time into one on one play.

Dumanski raised to $120,000 and was re-potted by Bach. Dumanski raised again, enough to put his opponent all-in, and Bach called with his tournament life on the line. The players tabled their hands:

Dumanski: A A Q 3

Bach: J J 6 3

The board ran Q 8 4 3 7 and Dumanski's two pair is good for the high. He takes the low as well with an 8-7 and, scooping the pot, sends David Bach to the rail in second place. Bach receives $139,725 in runner-up cash and Lukasz Dumanski takes $227,454 and the bracelet!

Down to Three; Timberlake Un-Justified

Gene Timberlake
WWJTD

We're down to the final three in this battle for PLOHLSEOB glory! David Bach, a recent WPT final table contestant, as well as Lukasz Dumanski and James Tolley are still in the hunt and in the words of Duncan MacCleod, "There can be only one!"

Timberlake Out of Sync (4th)

Gene Timberlake has been sent home in fourth place courtesy of the cowboy-hat-wearing David Bach. We're pretty sure Bach is not a real cowboy, as evidenced by every other part of his wardrobe save the one sitting atop his head, but he did manage to rope himself some chips in the process of sending Timberlake to the rail.

Timberlake moved all-in and got a call from Bach on the button. Bach had pocket kings among his four downcards and after the board showed no possibility of a qualifying low, Bach's kings were good for the pot and the elimination. Timberlake receives $60,485 and the gratitude of pun-seeking media members everywhere.

Bach Down, then Up

David Bach lost a few moderately sized pots before managing to double-up. On a board of A 5 4 Q Lukasz Dumanski bet out $35,000 and was re-raised to $85,000 by Bach. Dumanski re-raised an additional $100,000 and Bach went into the tank for some time before making a decision.

"Sorry this is taking so long," Bach commented. There was about $200,000 in the pot and Bach had about the same amount behind. Eventually folding, Dumanski showed his hand as he raked the pot, K-J-6-3 for a low and a straight draw for the high.

David Bach's stack would not be short for long though as he doubled up only a few hands after. Lukasz Dumanski raised to $120,000 from the button and got a call from Bach in the big blind. The flop came K T 6 and Bach moved all-in for $155,000. After a few moments Lukasz made the call and turned over A 2 5 J. He was in the lead against the A 9 7 2 of Dumanski.

The board finished out J 8 and Bach had made a jack high straight to double up and stay alive.

Tolley Doubles!

Gene Timberlake
Timber-Lake - Will the short stack soon fall?

James Tolley vaulted into the lead doubling through David Bach.

Bach made a $90K pre flop raise and Tolley bumped it to $300,000. Bach called and the flop came 6 4 2.

Tolley pushed in and Bach made the call. Tolley held the A 3 9 Q and Bach had the 2 Q K K. The turn was the 3 and the river the 5 giving Tolley the runner runner wheel for the Hi and Lo.

Tolley's double gives him close to $900K and a big chip lead.

Official WorldSeriesofPoker.com chip counts give Lukasz Dumanski $525,000, David Bach $460,000 and Gene Timberlake $135,000.

5th!

It's down to four handed now that Chad Brown is out.

Brown called a David Bach pot bet pre flop and they went to the flop heads up. The 6 5 5 flop brought another pot bet from Bach and another call from Brown. The turn came the 10 and Brown shoved in. Bach tanked then called flipping over 2 3 4 4. Brown held the A 4 J-#J.

The river Q made Bach's flush and sent Chad to the cage to pick up $43,606.

Alioto Alive!

Chad Brown
New Boss!

Dario Alioto survived another all in bet despite James Tolley hitting a full house on him.

Alioto got it in on a board of A 5 4 Q with A 2 6 8. Tolley held A 5 10 Q and rivered the boat when the Q hit.

Alioto survived because he made the low.

Meanwhile Chad Brown is making some noise. Brown held 2 2 5 6 with the board reading A 10 8 4 7 for the straight all in against Lukasz Dumanski.

Brown doubled to over $500K as Dumanski mucked his hand and he is now in the chip lead.

Alioto Up!

Dario Alioto
All the right moves!

Dario Alioto seems intent on building up his short stack into a big one at this final table.

He quartered in a hand moving all in early and was sitting around $55,000 in chips before he made a fw other moves.

First he eliminated Mark Wilds picking up Wilds' $28K. Then he pushed Chad Brown of a hand going all in on a flop of A Q 8 after a $42,000 pre flop bet.

Now he's sitting on more than $140K and primed to push that stack around a little.

Meanwhile, Chip leader David Bach made runner-runner two pair holding A Q to pick up a big pot off James Tolley. Amazingly, Bach bet the flop of J 9 7 with three other limpers in the hand. Tolley was the only one who made the call and was probably ahead when he did it.

Bach has more than $400K and the chip lead

Wilds 8th!

Mark Wilds moved all in for his last $28,000 and Dario Alioto made the call with A 4 J J. Wilds had only the A 5 7 9.

When Alioto made a set of Jacks on the J 3 2 K Q board Wilds day was done.

He cashes $18,755 for 8th.

Official WorldSeriesofPoker.com chip counts show David Bach with a slight lead over Lukasz Dumanski and Gene Timberlake not far behind in third.

Danzer Done!

George Danzer is out in 9th place and will cash $13,597.

Danzer got short stacked early on with A A 9 10 against Dario Alioto and his K J J 9. With Alioto all in he hit the J 7 3 3 3 board hard for the full boat.

A few hands later Danzer woke up with another monster in the form of A A 7 Q.

This time he got beat by Thomas Hant's A 3 4 5 when the board of A 2 8 7 Q gave Hant a flush.
