Michael Spegal has defeated Canadian Gavin Smith to win WSOP Gold.
With Smith on the button he made it $120,000 to go and Spegal went upstairs to $240,000. Gavin pushed his entire stack of $415,000 in the middle and Spegal called flipping over the A♠ 10♠.
Smith had 5♣ 5♦ for the slight edge, but Segal picked up a flush draw when the flop came J♦ 6♠ 3♠. When the turn revealed the Q♠ the flush was complete and Smith's bracelet hopes over - for now. I think the river was the K♦, but it doesn't really matter people - stay focused here - We have a Winner!
