Lisandro is the Stud!

Jeffrey Lisandro has taken the bracelet, watch and $118,426 for first place, beating out Nick Frangos in blistering heads-up action. Frangos takes $65,902 for the knowledge he is second stud.
Lisandros showed 9♦ 8♠ A♠ 5♠ to Frangos' J♠ J♥ 7♥ 2♣. On fourth and fifth streets, Frangos bet -- on fifth Lisandros re-raised Nick all-in. Nick called to show Q-K to Jeffrey's aces in the hole, and the main stage crowd went wild in approval of our number one stud.
Coburn Cut!
5 years agoNesbitt Coburn is done and we're going heads up at the ESPN Final Table.
Coburn got it all in on sixth street holding K♥ J♣ 2♦ 4♠ but Nick Frangos had the 8♣ 10♦ 3♣ 2♠.
In the end, Frangos made two pair and Nesbitt had just a pair of fours. He'll cash $42,643 for third as Frangos goes heads up with Jeffrey Lisandro for the gold!
Down to Three!

We're now three handed as Severin Walser has hit the rail in fourth.
Walser will pick up $28,105 after getting his stack in the middle on third. In the end, he made two pair, nines and fives, but was beaten by Nick Frangos' Aces and Kings.
Frangos has managed to build his stack up over $380,000 and has a slim chip lead over Jeffrey Lisandro and Nesbitt Corbin with more than $230,000 each.
It's really anybody's game with the huge limits on this level.
Oh Danny Boy!

He met his end when he picked up a pair of Jacks on thirds street and ran into Severin Walser's rolled up dueces. Walser hit a set and Daniel could not find a third Jack to double up.
He'll pick up $21,321 for fifth and then there were four!
Gone!
5 years agoDavid Brody was eliminated first in seventh when his set of eights was beaten by Greg Pappas' seventh street straight.
Pappas was popped a few hands later in sixth when he went all in on third street with just the 10♥ showing. Nesbitt Coburn made the call and managed to make a King high straight.
Pappas picks up $16,282 for sixth and we're five handed.
Negreanu Leads!
5 years agoOnce taking on the chip boss role Negreanu began to play the heavy putting pressure on the smaller stacks around the table.
Showing Q♥ J♦ 4♥ 6♣ against Greg Pappas' 2♥ A♥ 6♦ J♣ Daniel sat quietly as Pappas checked blind on seventh street. Then he got a little loud betting in the dark. Pappas folded and Negreanu picked up another pot worth over $40,000.
Lisandro survives
Lisandro came in chip leader, but is now playing with a short stack. It got a little bigger, however, when he got all his chips in the middle with J♦ 4♦ 4♣ 10♥ against Greg Pappas and his 10♠ A♠ Q♥ K♣.
It looked as though any face card would send Lisandro to the rail, but Pappas missed on seventh street. Lisandro actually hit another four and doubled up to stay in the tournament.
Ben Bows Out!
5 years agoBen got his chips in the middle on third street with the best of it, holding Q-Q-A against Daniel Negreanu's 8-9-J.
He continued to have Daniel's number on fourth and fifth street, but Daniel picked up the 10♦ on sixth street for the up and down straight draw. Seventh street was dealt down, but Daniel took one look and quickly turned up the Q♠ for the straight.
Cohen did not improve and became the first casualty of the day.
Severin Doubles
A few hands earlier Severin Walser was put all in by Negreanu on third street, but had a pair of Aces. Daniel had Kings, but could not improve and Walser doubled up!

It is currently Level 16 and Daniel is on the hunt for his first 2007 WSOP bracelet. Jeff Lisandro is also at the table and he's also the current chip leader.
