Sally Anne Boyer is the 2007 Ladies' Event Champion! Defeating Anne Heft during heads-up play, Sally has won the biggest event in the history of ladies-only poker!
Boyer shipped it holding K
2
and got a call from Heft who had her dominated with K T. The flop came 5 4
3, giving Sally an open-ended straight draw in addition to her deuce. The turn was safe for Heft, bringing the 8. It all came down to the river which brought one of the three remaining twos!
With that little suck-out Sally Boyer is the new Ladies Champion, taking down $262,077.
