Billirakis Is Champion!

Mueller raised to $200,000 from the button and got re-raised by Steve to $300,000. Mueller then moved all-in for his remaining $25,000. The call was made and the two players turned over their hands. K 2 for Billirakis was leading FBT's 4 5. The flop came out Q J 2, no help to Mueller.

The turn was the 8 and FBT was still looking for a four or a five. The river failed to deliver, bringing the Q, and eliminating Greg Mueller in second place for $328,554. Steve Billirakis is the first 2007 WSOP bracelet winner, taking home $536,287. Steve is actually the youngest player to ever win a World Series Event at just 21 years and ten days!

George Busts; Down to Heads-Up

Not long after returning from the dinner break Tony George got all-in with Greg Mueller and was unable to win a race to stay alive. FBT got the action started with a raise to $120k and when it got to Tony he quickly moved all-in for around $600,000.

Greg beat him into the pot and turned over A-K to Tony's pocket fives. The flop came J T 8, giving FBT a few more outs, and after the turn brought the 6 the crowd was cheering for the dealer to turn over a high card. The Q hit the river, answering the audience's prayers and eliminating Tony George in third place for $128,329.

Paul-Ambrose raises all-in and Billirakis calls, showing A A for top set while Paul-Ambrose shows J 8 for top pair with a gutterball straight draw.
