Kevin Cover has won the tournament. In the final hand Cover and Joe Brandenburg moved all-in when the flop showed K-9-6. Brandenburg showed pocket 8's, but Cover was in the lead with A♠ 9♠. Brandenburg didn't get any help on the turn or river and thus lost the bracelet to Kevin Cover.

Kevin Cover gets $196,968 in prize money. Brandenburg gets $105,707.

Josh Tieman finished in 3rd place, and Joe Brandenburg in 4th.

Play is underway, although Davood Mehrmand probably wishes they'd waited a little longer. Merhmand just doubled up an opponent after betting $3,000 preflop and seeing Player 2 raise all-in for $7,000. Mehrmand considered, finally saying, "I don't want to, but I have to call." Call he did, with 10-4, while his opponent showed A-K. The board brought nothing for either man and Big Slick held up.
