This is a new event at the 2005 World Series of Poker - Short-Handed No-Limit Hold'em. Players begin with $2,500 in tournament chips and are seated six to a table. The first day of the event will play down to the final table or until the 12th level is completed. Play will resume tomorrow at 2 p.m.

It's over! Isaac Galazan is the champion!
All in pre-flop Isaac held the K♥ J♠ and Demetriou the Q♣ 9♠. The board came 8♦ 5♦ 4♦ 5♠ 2♥ and no help for Demetriou. Isaac Galazan's K-high held up, earing him $315,125 for first place. Harry Demetriou receives $163,850.

Isaac G doubles up
After a flop of 2♥ 6♣ 5♠ Demetriou raised all in with the 6♦ 4♠ and was called by Isaac holding the 9♦ 9♥. The turn was the K♣ and river Q♥. Isaac doubles up and is now in the lead.

Both players started slow
After 5-6 hands of no pre-flop raises the action took off and both players began to raise.

Tommy Grimes is busted by Isaac G
The flop Tommy flopped middle pair and bet out, Isaac raised holding top pair and Tommy raised all in, Isaac called. Tommy held J♠ 8♠ and Isaac a Q-9 and the flop came Q-J-x. No help for Tommy on either the turn or river.

Tommy Grimes is by far the smallest stack
It's a tough three-way battle and odds are that Tommy will be the first to exit. But Tommy is a very tough player and will not give in without a fight.

David Singer is busted by Harry Demetriou
On the river with a board of J♣ 7♥-As-5♣ 6♦, David singer bet big with a $186,500 bet. Demetriou went into the tank. While he was thinking about to call or not Singer was speaking Hebrew with a friend on the side and this upset Harry as only English is allowed at the table. Harry finally called and Singer showed the 9♣ 9♥, Harry held he A♥ 4♥.

Singer keeps attacking Demetriou's big blind
Singer keeps making a $15k raise first in on the button when Demetriou holds the big blind. Harry is obviously disturbed by this as he keeps defending by flat calling and taking flops with Singer. Singer has picked up more than his fare share of these pots.

David Singer doubles up through Isaac G
Singer held the K♦ 9♠ and Isaac G had the J♠ J♣. The flop came 6♠ K♠ 2♥ and Singer went all in on the flop only to be called by Isaac. The turn was the 2♠ giving Isaac a flush draw, and the river the 4♦. Singer doubles up.
