WSOP 2005 $10,000 World Championship Event - Live Updates

Each level will last two hours, with a 15 minute break after every level. The field will be split over the first three days and will be combined on Day 4. Days 4, 5 and 6 will play five levels each, while Day 7 will play down until just 36 players remain. Day 8 will then play down to the final nine players, and the final table will take place on Day 9. Play begins at 12 p.m. each day.

Reigning World Champion Greg Raymer, who took home a record-breaking $500,000 last year, outlasted a field of 2,576 players. This year's World Champion must overcome a field of 5,619 - the largest in WSOP history - to earn the historic first-place prize of $7.5 million!

Hatchem is the most active player right now and seems to be hitting some hands. He has won 9 out of the last 19 pots. Steven Dannenmann is starting to look a little frustrated at this moment. Tex Barch is the short stack and is playing tighter than his two opponents. He has been the tightest player at the final table after possibly Daniel Bergsdorf who got knocked out in 7th place.

The final four players have been playing a conservative the last 20 hands. Tex Barch tried to run a bluff with a busted flush draw that was picked off by Hachem who had top pair, other than that no major moves has been shown. Amazingly Hachem has managed to keep his chip count around $4-5 million the entire final table whereas the other players stacks has moved up and down considerably. Dannenman has slowed down the last 20 hands or so and mostly sitting back. Around the time he knocked out Andrew Black, Dannenmann was a very active player. All players seem to be avoiding playing any bog pots at the moment, we
