WSOP 2005 $10,000 World Championship Event - Event Details

Each level will last two hours, with a 15 minute break after every level. The field will be split over the first three days and will be combined on Day 4. Days 4, 5 and 6 will play five levels each, while Day 7 will play down until just 36 players remain. Day 8 will then play down to the final nine players, and the final table will take place on Day 9. Play begins at 12 p.m. each day.

Reigning World Champion Greg Raymer, who took home a record-breaking $500,000 last year, outlasted a field of 2,576 players. This year's World Champion must overcome a field of 5,619 - the largest in WSOP history - to earn the historic first-place prize of $7.5 million!
