Event 17, $2,500 Limit Hold'em - Live Updates

Players begin with $2,500 in tournament chips. All levels up to the final table will last 60 minutes. Final table levels will be 90 minutes with 15 minute breaks every two rounds. A 60-minute dinner break will follow level 6. Play on the first day will last until we are down to the final table or the 12th level is completed (whichever comes first). Play will resume at 2 p.m. on June 19.

Statistics for this year's event see a more than 30% increase over last year's tournament entries, with 373 read to play this year as compared to 237 in 2004. 2004 champion Eli Balas took home $174,440 for his efforts, while the 2005 winner can expect a more than $250,000 payday.
