Event 12, $2,000 Pot-limit Omaha w/re-buys - Live Updates

Players are allowed to re-buy chips when they are at or below $2,000 in chips at any time within the first 2 hours. At the end of the second round, players may do a single or double add-on for $2,000 or $4,000 and will receive the equal amount of tournament chips.

2004 champion Chau Giang was awarded $187,920 after defeating a field of 145 players who re-bought 156 times. This year's winner is set to collect a prize of $381,600.

Josh Arieh called Chris Ferguson's all-in bet on a flop of 7 5 2. Josh showed K 9 3 2 and Ferguson showed K 9 10 3. This meant Chris had to catch a runner-runner straight or hit a ten. But the cards didn't come, crowning Josh Arieh the champion of the 2005 Pot Limit Omaha Re-buy event.

In an interesting hand recently Josh Arieh put both Ron Graham and Chris Ferguson all-in. The flop came 7 7 3. Chris Ferguson held 7 8 6 5, Ron Graham held A J 10 3 and Josh held 10 10 8 4. The flop made it almost impossible for Ron Graham to win but Josh still had 2 outs for a full house. On the turn came an 8 which full filled Ferguson's boat and the ten didn't come on the river. Graham busts out in third place and Chris Ferguson more than doubles his stack.

Tony S just got knocked out by Josh Arieh. On a rainbow flop of 5-8-2 Tony went all-in with 5-6-7-10 against Arieh holding 9-8-5-4. A queen on the turn gave Josh a flush draw. The river brought a blank card and Tony S got eliminated in fourth place.

Dave Colclough just got knocked out by Josh Arieh. Arieh raised 12k pre-flop and was called by Dave Colclough. The flop came J-J-9. Arieh bet enough to put Colclough all-in and Colclough called. Dave held a jack for three of a kind and Josh held a wrap-around straight draw. But two consecutive hearts gave Arieh a flush of hearts on the river which beat Colcloughs's three of a kind.

The last player out today got knocked out in a multi-way pot (4 players). An early player raised to 12k before the flop and 3 players called. The shortest stack moved in on a flop consisting of 7-8-10, and was called by one of the chip leaders. The all-in had overcards against the caller who flopped a straight. No help for the all-in and he is out in tenth place, winning $16,190 for his achievement. Final table play will resume tomorrow with a very strong and interesting final table. Remaining famous players are Erik Seidel, Chris Ferguson, Dave Colclough and Josh Arieh. Play will resume tomorrow at 2 p.m.
