Mirage Poker Showdown - Live Updates

Day 5 Live Updates

Little Big Man!

Cory Carroll raises to $480,000 and Jonathan Little moves all-in. Carroll makes the call and shows A 7 to Little's A 2 for pretty much the same scenario as the last all-in. The flop comes T 5 2 and the crowd goes nuts. The turn is the 2 and Little stands, polishing his sunglasses and looking calm compared to the Maelstrom that surrounds him in the crowd. The river is a meaningless Q and Linda Johnson comes in to count the stacks, and after a few moments it is announced that Jonathan Little has won the Season Six Mirage Poker Showdown!

Neither player looks very excited by this strange, anticlimactic finish, but Jonathan Little will take home $1,066,295 for the win, as well as a WPT bracelet, a trophy, and an entry into the 2007 WPT World Championship next spring. For his second place finish, Cory Carroll takes home $561,966. Both players earn the adulation of hundreds of millions of rabid PokerListings.com fans worldwide.

Congratulations to both finalists, and to Layla Kayleigh on the successful completion of her first final table!
