Perhaps in an effort to get this match over before the WPT uses up all the videotape in the free world, the blinds have once again been raised. The astronomical price to play is now $150,000/$300,000 with a $30,000 ante so these players will be forced to make some moves, whether they want to or not.

Winston Gets Lucky to Chop
After Roy Winston limped from the button, Yoon popped it to $700,000. Winston then announced all-in. Yoon thought for a moment and said, "No matter what happens, good game!" He pounded fists with Roy before announcing call and tabling A

The crowd was on its feet and Winston was calling for two sevens as we went to the flop. The dealer laid J

Chip Count
Here are the counts at this stage in the game:

| Seat 2 | Roy Winston | $13 million |
Angle Shot or Mistake?
Roy Winston just did something that looked remarkably like an angle shot when he tried to make a standard pre-flop raise but said, "I'll make it $3 million." They then asked him to confirm if he really meant $3 million, which is essentially an all-in move since Yoon has little more than that behind. Winston responded by saying, "Oh, I meant $400,000 but I guess it's binding." Yoon checked his cards and folded, laying 7-2 face up on the felt.

Winston Steamrolling
Winston Takes the First Two
Roy Winston, the overwhelming chip leader going into this match, has taken down the first two hands of heads-up play with pre-flop raises. Yoon will have to play back at him to stay afloat in this tournament.
Pot for Yoon
Yoon raises to $250K from the button and gets a call from Winston. The flop comes J
9
8
and Yoon leads out. Winston folds and Yoon picks up the pot.
Blinds Up
The blinds have been raised and now sit at $60,000/$120,000 with a $10,000 ante.
Advantage = Winston
Roy Winston's experience is becoming evident as he edges Yoon out of the majority of hands. Up against such a big chip deficit Yoon will have to make something happen before he sees his stack dwindle to nothing.
Pot for Yoon
Yoon calls from the small blind and Winston checks in the big. The flop comes T
9
2
and both players check. The turn is the T
and they both check again. The river is the 2
and Roy bets out $150,000. Yoon makes a quick call and they both turn over a nine for two pair. Yoon has the better kicker and drags the pot.
Bigger Pot for Winston
Winston raises to $300K from the button and Yoon min-raises to $600,000. Roy makes the call and the flop comes J
T
5
. Yoon bets out 400K and Winston makes the call. The turn is the 7

and they check again. Winston shows a nine for the straight and after a few seconds Yoon mucks his hand.
Winston Extends Lead
Heung Yoon raises to $380,000 and Roy Winston moves all-in. After a bit of thought Yoon lets it go and concedes the pot.
Yoon in Critical Condition
Heung Yoon has been bleeding chips the entire heads-up match and he is now reaching dangerously low levels. Winston is up to about $15 million while Yoon is down to about $1.5 million.

Haralabos Bust-alabos; Heads-Up Play Ensues
1 year ago
Haralabos Voulgaris has been eliminated, another casualty of the juggernaut known as Roy Winston. Haralabos raised to $250,000 from the button and after Heung Yoon folded his small blind Roy Winston re-popped to $750,000 from the big blind. It was back on Haralabos and after a bit of thought he announced all-in for $2.2 million total.
Winston only thought for a moment before making the call and tabling A
4
. Voulgaris would need to improve with Q
9
as he went to the flop with his tournament life on the line. The first three cards came J
7
3

. Voulgaris is out in third for $434,560.

Weitzman Winged; Down to Three
Winston Remains Active
Roy Winston, chip leader, has been extremely active before the flop. Raising the majority of hands, he has takes down a substantial number of blinds and antes so far.
More Chips for Chip Leader
Roy Winston seems to have a pretty good handle on this table and just took down a nice pot, pushing his opponents out of the pot despite holding a relatively weak hand. Heung Yoon opened the pot to $265,000 from the button and got calls from both Winston and Voulgaris in the blinds.
The flop came 8
4
3
and Winston led out for $600,000. Voulgaris quickly folded but Yoon took a few moments to think it over. "You're either bluffing or that's a great bet," pointed out Yoon. Eventually folding, Yoon showed A-2 as he did. "I had you dominated," said Winston as he flashed pocket deuces.
Weitzman Out in Fourth
Mark Weitzman, after struggling with a below-average stack for the day's entirety, has been sent to the rail courtesy of the chip leader, Roy Winston. Winston opened the pot to $300,000 and it was folded to Weitzman who quickly announced all-in. Winston snap-called with A
Q
and Weitzman was in bad shape with A

The flop came K
J

The Mouth Flushed
With the crippling of Gene Todd earlier and Mark Weitzman at risk as well, no one here thought Mike Matusow would be the first player to hit the rail. He got in with the best of it against the chip leader, Roy Winston, but in true Matusow fashion, was unable to make his hand hold up.
Winston opened the pot to $230,000 and got a call from Matusow. The flop came A
Q
4
and Matusow led out for $325,000. Winston announced raise and Matusow quickly moved all-in. Winston snap-called and tabled A
7
for top pair and the nut flush draw. He would need to improve against Mike's A
Q
for top two pair.
The crowd was on its feet and the WPT producers were anxiously crossing their fingers as the highest-profile player at the table faced elimination. The turn was the 2
, making Winston's flush and the Mouth would need to fill up on fifth street to stay alive. The river was the K
though and Matusow is sent to the rail in sixth place. He will take $271,600 for his efforts.
Gene Todd Bro'd
Hot on the heels of Mike Matusow is Eugene Todd making his way to the exit. After moving up one spot in the payouts with the Mouth's elimination, Todd moved all-in for $475,000 and got a call from Heung "Scotty" Yoon.
A
K
for Yoon was racing Todd's pocket treys and the flop came J
9
7
. The turn was the 2
; Todd was still in the lead, but the river brought the K
and sent Gene Todd packing. Considering the crippling he took earlier it's a miracle he made it to fifth place. He will take $325,920 along with him.
Blinds Up
The blinds have been raised and are now $50,000/$100,000 with a $10,000 ante.

Haralabos Double-alabos; Todd Crippled
Gene Todd opens from UTG to $240,000 and it's folded to Haralabos Voulgaris on the button who announces re-raise, pushing in an additional $375,000. The blinds get out of the way and it's back on Gene Todd who goes into the tank. After a few moments he announces all-in and the words are barely out of his mouth before Voulgaris says call.
"Aces?" asks Todd. Voulgaris simply nods his head and tables A

Haralabos has the check mark and Gene Todd is absolutely crippled. Voulgaris and Todd were almost dead even in chips and Todd is left with only $20,000. He'll be all-in in the big blind on the next hand.
The Comeback Kid
Gene Todd was automatically all-in in the big blind for his last $20,000 and Haralabos Voulgaris calls in the cut-off, Mark Weitzman calls on the button and Mike Matusow calls in the small blind. The flop comes out J

The turn is the 3

Those four magic words have been said and we are off to the races. Levels will be 75 minutes long and we've just been informed that the blinds have been rolled back to give these players a bit more play at today's final table. We ended last night late in the $50,000/$100,000 so this amounts to almost two extra levels being added.
First Pot for the Mouth
Mike Matusow took down the first pot of the night, raising before the flop and getting no callers.
Winston with the Muscle
Roy Winston has taken down a sizable pot on just the second hand of the evening. It began with Winston raising before the flop from the button, getting a call from Mark Weitzman in the big blind. The flop came J

Winston calmly announces raise and makes it $1.4 million to go. Weitzman only thinks for a moment before mucking his hand. Winston flashes the J

The Set-Up

The final table for this year's Borgata Poker Open is just moments away as players make their way to the tables to de-bag their chips and get mic'd up for the evening's festivities. After more than four hours of seven-handed play last night we finally got the final elimination of Day 4. It was John Kranyak out in seventh, a shame since the young player's uber-aggressive style would have been great fun to watch on the tube.
The final six still include some characters though with Mike Matusow, Eugene Todd and Haralabos Voulgaris counted among their numbers. Stay tuned for beginning-of-day chip counts followed by all the action as it happens here in the Borgata Event Center.
