Daniel Negreanu moves all-in from the button and Brian Sumner makes the call. Sumner has pocket eights (8d 8c) against Negreanu's As 3d. The flop comes 8h 5h 4c and Sumner has a set while Negreanu has a gut-shot wheel draw. The turn is the 3c and Negreanu is still drawing for a deuce. The river is the Qs and Brian Sumner has won the 2007 World Poker Open and still has not cracked a smile.

For finishing second, Daniel Negreanu takes home $502,691, while Brian Sumner receives $913,986 to split with his family and his new friends at the I.R.S. He also receives a snazzy bracelet and an entry into the WPT World Championship event in April. Oh, and both players receive free beer. Congratulations to both finalists!
