Disaster for Kelley; The World is Saved 3 years ago

Chuck Kelley raises to $550,000 and John Hennigan calls in the big blind. The flop comes 7s 3s 3d and Hennigan checks to Kelley, who bets $700,000. Hennigan makes the call and the turn is the Ah. Hennigan again checks to Kelley, who bets another $700,000. Hennigan flat calls again and before the dealer can show the river, Kelley turns over Qh 7h. The hand remains live and the floor issues a warning, and we see the river card come 3h. Hennigan moves all-in.

After a moment's thought, Kelley makes the call with threes full of sevens, and Hennigan shows Ac 5h for threes full of aces. Kelley's huge mental error comes back to seriously bite him, and John Hennigan is the champion of the Borgata Poker Classic in an amazing turn of events.

Kelley takes home $849,082 and the haunting memory of this disaster, while Johnny "World" Hennigan takes home $1,606,223 for his victory. Congratulations to both players!
