Hachem takes home the $2,182,075 first prize as well as a berth in the $25,000 WPT World Championship next spring. Jim Hanna gets a $1,099,430 consolation prize. Congratulations to both players!

Play has been paused for the money presentation, with both surviving players guaranteed at least a million dollar payday for their play in this tournament.

The flop comes 4♦ 7♥ 4♥, keeping Hachem the lead. The turn is the A♣ and the pro-Redlin crowd erupts as the Michigan native takes the lead. The river, incredibly, is the case queen, filling Hachem up and sending the rest of the crowd into absolute hysterics. Hachem had Redlin out-chipped and the kid heads to the rail in fifth place as the audience rubs its eyes in disbelief.

PokerListings.com's odds calculator lists Hachem as having a 2.3% chance of winning that pot on the turn. Doesn't matter. David Redlin is fifth place and he'll take home $253,715 and the honor of getting put out by a bad beat from a world champion.

Jordan shows 8♠ 7♠ to Negreanu's A♣ K♥, giving Negreanu the much better hand and leaving Jordan drawing for an eight or a seven to stay alive. The river card is the 6♥ and Negreanu makes the king-high flush to send Ed Jordan to the rail in sixth place. He'll take home $169,145 for his efforts.

Negreanu makes it $900,000 and Hachem's seen enough. After a minute or two of thought Jordan folds and Negreanu wins the pot, showing pocket aces. Joe Hachem promptly steals them and claims them as his own.
