One-Outer Sends Redlin to the Rail

David Redlin makes it $180,000 from first position and it's folded around to Joseph Hachem in the big blind. Hachem announces raise and makes it $500,000 to go. David Redlin thinks for a moment before announcing all-in for an additional $725,000 and Hachem makes the call. Redlin shows A Q to Hachem's Q Q.

The flop comes 4 7 4, keeping Hachem the lead. The turn is the A and the pro-Redlin crowd erupts as the Michigan native takes the lead. The river, incredibly, is the case queen, filling Hachem up and sending the rest of the crowd into absolute hysterics. Hachem had Redlin out-chipped and the kid heads to the rail in fifth place as the audience rubs its eyes in disbelief.

PokerListings.com's odds calculator lists Hachem as having a 2.3% chance of winning that pot on the turn. Doesn't matter. David Redlin is fifth place and he'll take home $253,715 and the honor of getting put out by a bad beat from a world champion.
