Jim Hanna makes it $720,000 from the button and Joseph Hachem moves all-in. Hanna makes the call for $4,160,000 and shows Qc Jc. Hachem has As 6c. The flop comes Ac Qd 3d and both players make a pair. The turn is the 8c and Hanna has plenty of outs to stay alive. The audience is on its feet for fifth street, hollering for the red deuce, and the river card is indeed the 2d. Hachem wins the pot with a pair of aces and is the new Doyle Brunson North American World Champion, leading the crowd in his signature call of "Aussie Aussie Aussie, oy, oy, oy!"

Hachem takes home the $2,182,075 first prize as well as a berth in the $25,000 WPT World Championship next spring. Jim Hanna gets a $1,099,430 consolation prize. Congratulations to both players!

Hachem makes the call and the turn comes Ad. Hachem checks and Hanna bets $1.2 million. He's visibly shaking. Hachem thinks about it but eventually lays it down, and Hanna regains some ground.

Joseph Hachem makes it $450,000 from the button and Daniel Negreanu thinks for a minute, counting his chips before moving all-in for a raise of $1.125 more. Jim Hanna gets out of the way and Hachem thinks it over before making the call with pocket fours. Negreanu has Ks Tc and Jim Hanna says he folded pocket tens. We have a race.

The flop comes Ah 2c Qc, giving Negreanu a few more outs. He calls for a big card, and the turn is the Qd. "I should have been more specific," he says. The audience is on its feet for the river, which is the 2d, and the Hachem supporters stand and cheer as Negreanu and Hachem shake hands. Kid Poker hits the rail in third place and gets a payout of $592,000.

Play has been paused for the money presentation, with both surviving players guaranteed at least a million dollar payday for their play in this tournament.
