The flop comes Q 5 4 and the turn is the 4, meaning Liu is drawing to an ace or an eight to stay alive. The river is the 7 and Ted Forrest fills up, taking the check mark, taking Liu's bounty, and taking the tournament.

Ted Forrest is the new champion at Bay 101, and will receive $1,100,000 for his efforts, as well as Liu's $5,000 bounty and t-shirt, a WPT ring and chipset, and an entry into the $25,000 WPT World Championship in April. J.J. Liu takes home $600,000 and the satisfaction of being the highest finishing woman in a WPT open event. Congratulations to both finishers!
