The last stop on the Latin American Poker Tour's inaugural season is over and Spanish rookie Jose Miguel Espinar is champion in Uruguay. Espinar defeated Costa Rica's Alex Brenes in heads-up play to earn the $241,735 top prize in Punta del Este. Tournament Rules
- 10 minute break after every 2 levels of play.
- Play will move to nine-handed as soon as possible and then become 8 handed for the last 10 tables, breaking to 9 players for the final table.
- Re-draws will be conducted for the start of Day 2 and at 4, 3, 2 and 1 tables.
- 3% of the prize pool will be withheld for tournament staff.
- Players start with $10,000 in non-value tournament chips.
- Each level will be played for 1 hour.
