Erik Seidel bets $70,000 from the hijack and Michael Chrisanthopoulos calls from the button. Everybody else gets out of the way.

The flop comes 10d Js 7d.

Seidel checks and Chrisanthopoulos checks and the turn comes 2h. Both players check and the board finishes with Jc.

Seidel bets $150,000 and that sends Chrisanthopoulos deep into the tank. After several minutes Chrisanthopoulos opts to raise to $375,000. Seidel calls fairly quickly and Chrisanthopoulos says, "Nice call," and mucks his hand. Seidel rakes the pot.

The turn is the 6c and Ling bets out $80,000. Kostritsyn makes the call and the river is the 7h, prompting a check from both players. Ling shows a pocket pair of threes while Kostritsyn has A-8 and takes the pot with two pair, eights and sevens.

Peter Mobbs re-pops another $500,000 and Erik Seidel gets out of the way. Kostritsyn tanks for a few minutes before moving all-in and Mobbs makes the call for his tournament life, showing As Js to Kostritsyn's Ad Ks.

The flop comes Jc 8d 6c and Mobbs suddenly takes the lead in the hand. The turn is a dagger Kd and Kostritsyn regains the advantage. The river card is the 2c and Mobbs can't engineer the triple suck-out and is thus eliminated, out in seventh place for a $225,000 haul.

It's Final-Table Time! 2 years ago

It's final-table time from the main event of the 2008 Aussie Millions. Seven days ago, the first flight of an eventual 780 runners began the tournament in the basement of the Crown Casino in beautiful Melbourne, Australia. Now all but seven of those players have been eliminated, and those seven have returned to the River Room at the Crown Tower to play down to the $1.65 million first prize.
