Moore Doubles Through Fischman 3 years ago

Scott Fischman raises to $45,000 from the cut-off and Chris Moore adds $66,000 to the wager from the big blind. Fischman moves all-in and more is forced to mull over a call for his tournament life. Eventually he does make the call and shows pocket queens to Fischman's As Kc, and the board comes 9c 4h=2c 7h 8h, giving the race to Moore and forcing Fischman to ship all of $468,000 across the felt to the young turk in the nine seat. Fischman is left with around $200,000, while Moore takes down the million dollar pot and is now the chip leader.

Moore mulls his options for a few minutes before finally making the call and showing a head-scratching Qd Td to the Grinder's 6c 6s. The board comes Qc 9s 2c Kd Ks and the Grinder packs up Adililly and hits the trail in seventh place, adding $48,015 to his bankroll in the process.

Even money or not, the board comes Kh 2c 2s 4s Kd and Moore takes the pot with kings and eights, sending Chan to the rail in eighth place and adding $38,412 to the coffers of the Orient Express.

Zomg Fischman Sucks Out on Chan 3 years ago

Johnny Chan raises to $35,000 from the hijack and Scott Fischman bumps it another $70,000 from the small blind. Chan flat calls and the flop comes Qh Ts 3c. Fischman immediately moves all-in for his last $217,000 and Chan beats him to the pot with Ad As. Fischman is in a bad place with Ah Kd, but the turn is the Jh to give Fischman the Broadway Straight. The river is the 9c and Scott Fischman has sucked out on Johnny Chan. It's difficult to tell who looks worse about the whole thing - the disgusted-looking Chan or Fischman, who looks about as sorry as someone can be without actually being repentant.

Hyman shows As Ad as he takes down the pot, and suddenly the gallery is aghast at the Hyman's audacity.
