Black-Balled 3 years ago

Andy Black has been elimininated from this event in third place after getting into a dominated all-in confrontation with Jimmy Fricke. Fricke made a pre-flop raise and Black quickly moved all-in. The words were barely out of his mouth before Fricke said call and turned over his cards. Black was in bad shape with K-Q to Fricke's A-Q and needed some help going to the flop. The board came 3s 7d 7h 9s Th and Andrew Black is outta here. Finishing in 3rd, Andy will take home $700,000.

Chop It! 3 years ago

Andy Black averted disaster after getting all-in with Gus Hansen and ending up with a split pot. A raise from Gus Hansen to $250,000 was followed by an all-in move from Andrew. Gus made the call and before they rolled them over it was clear by his expression that Andy wasn't happy about the call. Behind going to the flop with Ac 3h against Hansen's As 8d. The flop came 4s Qs 2d, giving Black a few more outs and the 4c on the river added a ton more for a split. The Th on the river is good for the chop and Black stays alive.

Steamroller 3 years ago

It;s hard to believe but Jimmy Fricke is absolutely dominating this final table and having two players like Gus Hansen and Andy Black to contend with makes it all the more impressive. Executing aggressive moves, Fricke is owning this match. Fricke just showed us an example of the kind of play I'm talking about when, after Black raised to $250,000 and Gus made the call, Fricke came over the top and made it $1.5 million, taking down the pot.
