Event Description
The tiny Caribbean nation of the Bahamas is officially* part of the European continent and has celebrated that fact by hosting the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour's PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. After six days of scintillating play in the European tradition the tournament is over, with PokerStars pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier fittingly taking the title and the $2 million first prize. Congratulations to ElkY and to PokerStars, and also to the entire continent of Europe for stealing such a sweet vacation spot away from the Americas!

Tournament Rules
- Day 1a: A minimum of 6 levels will be played and play is scheduled to conclude at approximately 8:45pm. However, play will continue until the field is reduced to 290 players.
- Day 1b: As Day 1a.
- Day 2: 6 levels will be played and play will conclude at approximately 8:45 pm.
- Day 3: Play down to approximately 36 players.
- Day 4: Play down to 8 players.
- Day 5: The final table.
- Short breaks: 15 minute break after each level on Days 1-4.
- Dinner breaks: There will be no dinner break on Day 1A, Day 1B, or Day 2. If play exceeds 6 levels on Day 3 or Day 4 a dinner break will be given.
- Players will begin with 20,000 in tournament chips.
