The Monte Carlo Grand Final is the conclusion of the European Poker Tour's year and with a hefty €10,000 buy-in and one of the toughest fields to be found anywhere it never failed to live up to the hype. After a hard-fought final table that saw Andy Black and Ram Vaswani bust out early, Gavin Griffin defeated Marc Karam in heads-up play to take down the €1,825,010 first prize, but all of the 706-player field left as winners thanks to the excellent structure of this well-organized event. Congratulations to both finalists, and to the EPT on the successful conclusion of another season!
