Sabat Wins!
Edward Sabat has won the PokerStars APPT Season 2 Macau Main Event!
Charles Chua shoved on a Q
6
6
flop holding the Q
3
and Sabat made the call with K
J
.
Eddie needed a diamond or a king to win and while the A
turn was neither, the 2
was, well, a diamond.
Chua grabs $291,761 for second while Sabat takes the glory of the APPT title, the $453,851 and if he’s really lucky, a PL.com winner interview.
Stay tuned for that!

Chua's Turn!
Our two heads up combatants get it in on a 2
5
8
9
board with Edward Sabat in the lead holding J
9
to Charles Chua’s Q
2
.
Chua needs a heart, queen or deuce to avoid Eddie taking the title and sure enough, the 2
falls on the river and both players end up with the same amount of chips.
Back to the drawing board folks.

Sabat Strikes First!
The first massive hand of heads up has gone to Edward Sabat!
The money went in on a Q
10
5
flop with Sabat holding A
Q
and Charles Chua the J
8
.
Charles needs a nine to become the next APPT Macau champ and grab the $450k+, but the 6
7
turn and river combo means the lead has switches hands.
Eddie now has $3.6 to to Chucky’s $1.8 million as heads up continues.

Huang Hung (3rd)
Diwei Huang is done. He shoved four hands in a row until he finally got looked up by Edward Sabat with A
K
.
With just A
4
himself, Huang looked dominated and just about defeated.
The flop fell J
7
5
and he was still in big trouble. The turn came the 7
and there were some chop possibilities, but the 10
river wasn’t one of them.
Huang steps out third cashing $153,984 and Sabat will go heads up with Charles Chua for the title.
Right now, Sabat has $2 million to Chua’s $3 million and it’s about to get serious here in Macau!

The Revenge of Chucky!
Charles Chua continues to pad his lead here in Macau with a series of aggressive plays. If he’s not betting the flop he’s betting after it, winning pot after pot without showdown.
He’s now on over $3 million leaving Edward Sabat with $1.5 million and a short stacked Diwei Huang needing to make a move on $650k.

The Chopping Block!
We had some real drama here moments ago when Diwei Huang shoved on an A
K
6
flop and Charles Chua made the call.
Huang held A
9
and looked to double against Chua’s A
8
, but the nature of the board left all kinds of possibilities, including Huang busting if an eight spiked.
The turn came the 10
and it looked like the chop was certain. It certainly was when the 10
fell on the river.

The Luckbox Is Back
Charles Chua, who looks a little more sober than before, just rivered his way back into the mix here.
Diwei Huang limped the small blind and Chua checked, sending them heads up to the A
6
4
flop.
Huang led out for $40,000 and Chua made the call bringing out the J
turn. Huang did not slow down, betting $80k, but Chua was not going anywhere, raising it up to $230k.
Huang made the call and the river came the K
, which both players checked. It turned out Chucky’s big turn bet was a bluff as he showed the K
5
for the rivered top pair. Huang could only show 10
4
for the flopped bottom pair.
With that pot all three are about even on close to $1.8 million each.

Eddie Lives!
On the first hand of three-handed play, Eddie Sabat has fought his way back into this thing.
After Charles Chua folded the button, Sabat pumped it up to $145,000 from the small blind. Diwei Huang made the call and Sabat continuation bet the Q
J
J
flop, making it $220k.
Huang flatted and after the K
turned, Sabat checked. Huang took the lead betting $150,000 and this time Eddie flatted.
The river was another king (the K
to be precise) and Sabat bet a whopping $500k. Huang called and Sabat screamed “yes,” felting K
Q
to rake the massive pot and move within $100,000 of Huang’s lead.
