Little Chases Record Third WPT at Legends
The 2010 WPT Legends of Poker is down to 15 players, including one looking for a record-tying third WPT title.
Having already booked World Poker Tour wins at The Mirage and Foxwoods, Jonathan Little has a shot to tie Gus Hansen and Carlos Mortensen with his third WPT title win at the Bike in Los Angeles this week, currently sitting second in chips.
The final 15 at Legends is largely made up of unknowns, including current chip leader Andrew Frankenberger, as big names like Erica Schoenberg, Joe Hachem, Elliot Smith, Joe Sebok, Marco Johnson, Allen Kessler, David Sands and November Niner Soi Nguyen all busted Monday.
However, Little and Kyle Wilson, who made sixth here two years ago, remain in contention.
The $5k main event at WPT Legends drew a total of 462 entrants this year, creating a $2,151,072 prize pool with $750,000 reserved for first.
The final table of six will be set Tuesday.
