Last year, American student Jeff Williams won a ridiculous $1.08 million for taking the European Poker Tour (EPT) Season 2 Grand Final amidst the flashy, well-heeled elite of Monte Carlo. This year's prize: Expected to be even bigger, and Betfair Poker can get you in the mix for $9.

Possibly.

Season 3's EPT Grand Final will again be played out among the A-listed and gold-fisted elite of Monte Carlo, and Team Betfair is throwing out the invite for one of their players to join them for the spectacle.

A rather large $16,000 package, including the €10,000 buy-in to the main event plus $3,000 for flights, accommodation and spending money is being put up for stakes every week, with satellites off and running already.

Level one satellites run daily at 1:10 p.m., 4:10 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. with $9+90¢ buy-ins.

That'll in turn feed you to a daily $70+$7 tourney at 7:55 p.m., with the next step from there a $500+$25 Saturday special at 9:30 p.m. which will finally dole out at least one of the Grand Final packages.
