Last chance for Paris Open romance
Everest Poker has announced their final direct entry tournament to the Paris Open of Poker, and time is running out to both get in and brush up on your French. The satellite goes tomorrow, and the tournament starts next week.
The Paris Open of Poker goes Feb. 17 at the Aviation Club de France and Everest Poker's last direct-entry satellite is a No-Limit Hold'em event that plays out at 8 p.m. (GMT) tomorrow (Feb. 8).
"Despite the fact it's never been made official, we think of the Aviation Club de France as the home of poker in France," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "We're always eager to send our players there for a tournament."
One $3,500 prize package for the Paris Open will be awarded for every 35 participants and buy-in for the satellite can be handled three ways:
Buy-in straight for $100+$9, use an Everest Gold Token or use Everest Poker's rewards points (Summit points), with 25,000+2,500 needed to enter.
Players will start with 1,500 in chips and blinds will go up every 15 minutes.
