Large Bodog Poker team off to L.A. Poker Classic

Team Bodog pros David Williams, Josh Arieh and Evelyn Ng will be joined by more than 20 online qualifiers at the L.A. Poker Classic. Seats to other upcoming World Poker Tour (WPT) events are still up for grabs at

The online qualifiers and pros together make up the largest team for a WPT event this season. The qualifiers have won their $12,000 L.A. Poker Classic packages through one of several online promotions, including's "Refer-A-Friend" drawing, and WPT satellites.

The main event of the L.A. Poker Classic will be played from Feb. 24 to March 1. Last year, 629 players entered the tournament, and Alan Goehring won the first prize of $2,391,550.

Even though the team for the L.A. Poker Classic has been set, you still have the chance to play for in upcoming WPT events.

At least three guaranteed $12,000 prize packages are given away weekly. Winners have their pick of playing a WPT main event or the richest tournament of them all, the 2007 WSOP Main Event.

WPT/WSOP Semi-Finals tournaments are held every Monday, Thursday and Sunday, and there are daily pre-qualifiers, with buy-ins as small as $1.50 available as well.
